PROGRESSIVE VERIFICATION:
A NEW APPROACH OF PCB DESIGN |
|
In the world of PCB design verification, the process of ensuring that a design is error-free and meets all requirements is crucial for successful product development. However, traditional methods of verification often involve hiring external experts or relying on overwhelmed in-house specialists, leading to delays and increased costs.
To overcome these challenges, we would like to introduce progressive verification.

QUESTA BASE WORKSHOP, OSLO UNLOCKING THE TOOLS YOU ALREADY OWN |
|
Last month, InnoFour co-hosted a hands-on Questa Base workshop in Oslo together with Inventas and Siemens EDA. Twenty-five FPGA developers spent an afternoon discovering advanced simulation, debugging, and verification capabilities that most of them had never used before - despite already holding licenses for these capabilities.
The event was a success, and we are already planning the next one. If that sounds like something you'd want to be part of, read more. |

SECURITY WORK & CYBER RESILIENCE ACT:
CAN YOU MEET THE 7 TRACEABILITY REQUIREMENTS? |
|
You're probably doing security work. You're just not ready to prove it. The EU Cyber Resilience Act doesn't ask if you have security processes, it assumes you do.
Instead, it demands proof: bidirectional traceability that connects every vulnerability to its assessment, every risk to its mitigation, every patch to its verification. Not in theory. On demand. In minutes, not days.
If you can't trace a single CVE through your entire response chain in under 10 minutes, you have an infrastructure problem, not a security problem. Here are the seven traceability requirements that will expose this gap. |

XPEDITION CREEPAGE SHIFT LEFT: STRENGTHENING SAFETY AND RELIABILITY THROUGH EARLY VALIDATION |
|
In every high voltage or high density electronic design, two insulation concepts play a critical role in preventing electrical failure: clearance and creepage. Although they are often mentioned together, they address different risks.
Clearance is the shortest distance through air between two conductive parts, while creepage is the shortest distance along the surface of an insulating material between them.
With the latest enhancements, Xpedition now includes initial creepage clearance validation directly inside the layout environment. This shift left approach allows designers to detect and resolve insulation distance concerns during placement, routing and optimization, instead of discovering them only after a full verification pass.
Early insight reduces the risk of late stage redesigns, shortens development cycles and improves the electrical robustness of the final product.
